The tool to flash Samsung mobile devices
Odin3 is the tool created by Samsung but not later released which is used to flash the operating system on Galaxy series devices.
If you have a Samsung Galaxy series tablet or smartphone and you want to flash the operating system (reinstall it), the most suitable tool is Odin3. The usefulness of this software is to make complete updates of the ROM of a device even if it also allows to flash parts of the kernel.
It appears to be software developed at the time by Samsung but not released to the public officially. However, the mark is mentioned in some documents, even with instructions for its use, and referenced as a tool for engineers. The versions that appeared are surely due to filtrations.
This software is designed to run on Windows PC and it can upload firmware image files to Samsung devices by USB cable. For it to work properly you will need to have downloaded and installed USB drivers for Galaxy and remember that not all phones root or flash the same way. There are different processes for each model so you will need to find yours on the internet to be sure what steps are required.
This software can be used to flash the smartphone, but also to try to recover a bricked device. That is, to do an unbricking operation. This ROM manager presents a control console from which to load in any way the user sees fit.
